Neuroblastoma Australia is seeking volunteers for a charity fun run event, Run2Cure at The Domain on Sunday 29th March, 2026. The aim of the event is to raise much needed funds for research into the rare children’s cancer, neuroblastoma.

1. Able to commit every 2nd Wednesday from 9am-3pm on an ongoing basis. 2. Ability to walk the planned routes comfortably. 3. A mobile phone. 4. Reliable and able to commit for a period, for example, 12 months. 5. Good organisation skills including an eye for detail. 6. Ability to understand map routes for walk outings. 7. Familiar with public transport use and timetables.

When volunteering with us, you will be going out on a small sailboat, taking dementia, disability or community groups of up to six people on one-hour sailing excursions on Sydney Harbour, departing from Rushcutters Bay. We aim to offer regular, weekly sails with our groups and are therefore looking for volunteers who can commit to approximately two hours per week as crew.

We have heaps of fun, simple and rewarding opportunities to lend a hand for one to two hours on a Saturday morning at parkrun events across Australia. No training is required, roles are fully supported on the day and you can take part as often or as little as you would like.
